Course Description: The 12 Lead ECG Course emphasizes recognition of STEMI as related to specific heart anatomy along with the underlying etiology. A systematic approach to 12-lead ECG interpretation is the focus of this course.
Audience: This course is intended for healthcare providers (EMS to in-hospital providers) who need to understand 12-lead ECGs and improve his/her STEMI recognition and assessment skills to identify potential STEMI patients.
Prerequisite: Basic arrhythmia course such as ECG & Pharmacology and/or clinical experience and knowledge in reading ECGs.
Course Description: Upon completion of this course, the health care provider will understand ventilator settings, understand how to prevent, recognize and troubleshoot the common causes of ventilator issues that require immediate attention.
Basic and advanced airway device recognition and utilization within your scope of practice will be covered. This course also includes:
